Amber McNichol MSN, RN – Sleep2Grow LLC
── About Me
My name is Amber, and I am a registered nurse with a Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in leadership and education. I am also a mother of two young boys, ages 2.5 years and 1 year, and I understand firsthand the exhaustion, uncertainty, and emotional toll that comes with disrupted sleep in early parenthood.
I currently work as a nursing clinical instructor and per diem bedside nurse, and I have recently found my true calling as a pediatric sleep consultant. My journey into sleep consulting began after the birth of my first son, when I found myself overwhelmed and underprepared for the realities of infant sleep. Like many new parents, I spent countless hours researching, trying to piece together information from various sources, often feeling confused and unsupported.
Becoming a pediatric sleep consultant has allowed me to merge my nursing compassion, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and passion for education into a practice that is both professionally fulfilling and deeply personal. I approach sleep support with flexibility, empathy, and evidence-based strategies, recognizing that every child and family is unique.
Having walked the path of new motherhood myself, I understand how sleep deprivation can overshadow the beauty of parenthood. My mission is to educate, support, and empower families during this challenging season—helping them move past exhaustion and toward more restful nights, so they can fully enjoy the journey of raising their children.
