Amy Harper is a lifelong learner who started her career as a nursing assistant and then became an occupational therapy assistant, and 2011 she completed her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Mercy College. Amy’s next achievement was getting certified in hand therapy in 2020. Currently,
Amy has obtained a post professional doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professionals.
Amy genuinely loves being an Occupational Therapist and has sought opportunities to gain experience in many practice settings. This experience has allowed her to work with adults with intellectual disabilities, pediatrics with autism and other developmental impairments, older adults in subacute, acute, and home care settings, and individuals in an outpatient clinic. She has experience working with clients who have orthopedic, developmental, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and neurological conditions. Amy has started a program to add sleep as an area of practice in the outpatient setting.
