About Me
My career has been rooted in one passion: helping children feel emotionally safe and helping families feel supported. I began as a classroom teacher, but quickly realized that academic growth is only possible when a child’s emotional world is understood. That realization guided me to school counseling, where I spent years supporting students from infancy through 8th grade as they navigated stress, behavior challenges, and developmental shifts.
My work naturally evolved into mental health counseling with a specialization in trauma and mind–body coaching. I’ve spent over a decade studying how the nervous system works, how children communicate through behavior, and how trauma—even subtle or unrecognized—can shape sleep, regulation, and connection.
Again and again, parents came to me exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure why their child wasn’t sleeping. And I saw how deeply sleep struggles impacted everything: learning, mood, behavior, parent well-being, and family connection. This led me to expand my training and become a Special Needs Sleep Consultant, serving children with neurodivergence, sensory needs, trauma backgrounds, and complex sleep patterns.
I use a trauma-sensitive, neurodiversity-affirming approach that honors each child’s wiring and each family’s values. My goal isn’t just to “fix sleep”—it’s to help your child feel regulated, safe, connected, and capable.
Parents choose to work with me because I offer:
A deep understanding of trauma and the nervous system
Expertise in child development from infancy through adolescence
A compassionate lens informed by years in education and counseling
Strategies that are practical, sustainable, and built for real families
A judgment-free partnership where you feel heard and supported
If your child is struggling with sleep—or you’re feeling drained and unsure where to turn—you don’t have to navigate this alone.
