Marie Kratzer

Hi- I'm Marie. Glad you're here! I graduated from Longwood University in Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. My career is as a case manager with our local department of social services. I'm also a mom to an amazing daughter who teaches me something new each day and is the inspiration behind my pursuit in sleep consulting. I get to combine two passions: being a mom and helping others. Our own experience with sleep issues led us to finding a sleep consultant. The inconsistent bedtimes, and middle of the night wakings took a toll. The exhaustion was permeating all areas of my life, and it was only when I felt that I wasn't being the best mom that I knew I had to make a change. Clearly what we were doing wasn't working, and everyone was suffering. We dreaded wake-up time each morning because our daughter was such a grump to get out of bed. Now we know why! She was just as tired as the rest of us and needed to learn how to fall asleep; it's a skill as much as any other milestone. And, we as her parents, needed to help her get there.
