Violet is a Registered Nurse and has over 15 years of experience in the medical field. She is a Pediatric Sleep Consultant, Regional Representative for the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants, Professional Member of the National Sleep Foundation, Member of the International Association of Complementary Therapists, Member of the National Parenting Education Network and Published Author of Baby Sleep Training in 7 Days. Violet is dedicated to training qualified and successful professionals through The Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting™  Certification Programs. Missy has always been passionate about Early Childhood Education and helping little ones thrive in their environment. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Teacher Education, Child Life Psychology and Child Development. Prior to becoming a mom of 3, Missy was a Preschool teacher for over 10 years. She is a certified sleep consultant and certified potty training consultant.

Missy facilitates the enrollment process at the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting by responding to questions and queries, and supporting students through the enrollment process. If you had questions prior to enrollment, chances are you’ve spoken to Missy! 












Mindee is the owner of Juicebox Consulting where she helps Mom inventors through the joys and trials of bringing their ideas to life while they juggle the heart tugs and demands of a family.  She has been an entrepreneur for 12 years and most widely known for her success as the inventor of  Boogie Wipes, saline wipes for kids stuffy noses. After taking on a business partner, investor and 12 employees, her idea hit $15 Million in sales in 2011 and was acquired shortly after by Nehemiah Manufacturing.  Mindee has been featured on the Today Show, The Big Idea, Good Morning America, Fox News and in People Magazine, The NY Times,, Inc and Forbes.  Recently, she was the keynote speaker for the Disney Moms Social Media Conference and Entrepreneur Uprising. In 2014, she earned the Spirit of Entrepreneurship award for her work with Oregon youth through the Young Entrepreneurs Academy.  She was a featured as an Entrepreneur  of the Year at the Oregon Entrepreneur Summit, in August, 2016 and speaks regularly to MBA classes, Moms groups and Entrepreneur clubs. Melanie is a registered nurse, a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, a sleep consultant, a yoga teacher, a wife and a mother to three amazing children.  She graduated from nursing school in 2002 and has always had a passion for moms and babies. She started her nursing career in postpartum nursing and went on to work in the NICU, labor and delivery, public health and the emergency room.
Experiencing her own struggles, not only with breastfeeding but with accessing support, ignited a passion in her she never expected.  The experience of breastfeeding her own premature twins led her to become a Lactation Consultant.  She worked through the certification requirements when her twins were babies and was fully certified by the time they were 2 years old.

Lisa is a certified pediatric sleep consultant whose professional background includes certification as an Ontario Certified Teacher. She has also created and managed content for various organizations for almost 2 decades. She has specifically worked in web content creation and e-learning course design as well as corporate training and project management (web, broadcast, print projects) for much of that time. She also has a keen interest in, and keeps up to date on marketing and digital marketing trends, practices and technologies. As an experienced learning and development professional, Lisa was tasked with re-organizing and re-imagining the original Sleep, Baby, Sleep Certification Program and supplementing it with new content, and a new assessment and evaluation strategy, whilst applying principles of adult education, providing a new, cohesive learning experience for students. Nicole Torrence, originally from Germany, came to the United States in 2006 as an au pair where she started working with 4 month old triplets. In 2008 she started studying child development and worked with individual babies and multiples (twins and triplets) for 6 years.

Nicole has her Bachelors Degree in Child Development and currently works at a daycare as a lead teacher. In July of 2014 she gave birth to her son. Nicole is also a certified sleep consultant and an expert on daycare schedules and routines. Catherine is the proud and energetic mother of six children who are rapidly and successfully transiting through teenage years into adulthood. Catherine is originally from Dublin, Ireland where she was trained and certified in the field of early childhood education through the proven philosophy and methods of Maria Montessori.

 After coming to the United States, Catherine worked as a preschool teacher while continuing her child development studies at Gratz College and City college in San Francisco. While working in preschool and continuing her education in child development, Catherine was drawn to the children that present challenging behaviors and it was that area she focused on with her studies in child development. After many years of teaching preschool, Catherine decided to train as a postpartum Doula specializing in multiplies and later as a sleep consultant.

Meyleen Velasquez, LCSW, RPT-S specializes in infant and maternal mental health. She is passionate about helping families with young children to thrive. She has served as the Chair of the Florida chapter of Postpartum Support International, on a committee of the Florida Infant Mental Health Association, and as the president for the Florida Association for Play Therapy. She co-authored a chapter in the book “Touch in Child Counseling and Play Therapy: An Ethical and Clinical Guide” on the considerations of touch with an abused infant. Having worked as part of the Miami Child Well-Being Court Model, Meyleen has served as an expert witness in the areas of infant mental health and play therapies.

She is passionate about creating positive communities through the use of age and population appropriate interventions and hopes to continue advancing the field of perinatal mental health. Since graduating from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kelly has spent the last 18 years in different training capacities, helping families adjust to life with newborns, solving sleep issues, and overcoming potty training nightmares.

In 2006, she became a certified Sign2Me Instructor through Dr. Joseph Garcia’s SIGN with your BABY® program. She launched Kelly’s Little Signers, to teach parents and childcare providers how to communicate with preverbal infants and toddlers through American Sign Language.  She began teaching classes at local hospitals, colleges, childcare centers, and in-home day cares. Although her name has changed, her signing classes have not! To date, she has taught thousands of parents and providers how to sign with babies and toddlers.

In 2009 Kelly became a certified Happiest Baby Educator to teach parents and providers how to calm babies and help them sleep longer.

In addition to being a Baby Sleep Consultant, Kelly recently became a certified Infant Massage Instructor and has enjoyed teaching parents about the soothing power of touch.  In addition to baby sign language workshops, she provides several different training classes for Nebraska providers including: Safe With You (preventing SIDS, Abusive Head Trauma, and Child Abuse & Neglect), Love & Logic, and Emergency Preparedness classes.  Learn more about Kelly
