Please note that although you will be learning signs of the American Sign Language, this course is intended for parents with hearing babies. This course does not qualify you to be an ASL instructor or interpreter.

Babies often cry to communicate, with baby sign language they have a way to express their needs. Baby sign language helps reduce frustration by allowing the baby to communicate with their parents and caregivers. This also means fewer tantrums!
Studies show babies who sign appear to have a larger vocabulary by age two, than babies that don't sign.
When teaching a baby to sign, you are being intuitive to what they are communicating. You are paying attention their needs more. This helps create a special bond.
