Did you know that 1 in 5 people experience some form of anxiety and depression during pregnancy and even two years after their baby is born? Many times life is different than we expected, and this is especially true when a baby comes into the family. For many caregivers, this time is filled with stress, sadness, worry, guilt, and shame. Sleep can be a huge contributor to your well-being and recovery. I am a psychotherapist specializing in perinatal mental health. My approach to pediatric sleep is relationship-based. We will create a plan that keeps your mental health needs and your infant's needs in mind. After all, if it doesn't work for the parent it won't work for the baby.
